Infinity M56 S? What are Japanese smoking
now days? 5.6 L V8. They need to leave the Germans alone and concentrate on what they "used to do best" small, fuel efficient cars.
|
I actually think its a hell of a car, wouldnt mind having one myself. Also wouldnt mind having that 5.6 in my Z, 560Z anyone?
|
I mean, who wouldnt want 420hp from the factory?
|
We will see how it does. Not sure there is a market for it considering they already have a quick 4 door car though. I know the m56 is faster obviously, but not sure there will be enough people who will purchases both.
They spell it "Infiniti" though :P |

I think the M56 will be a success. Its nice to see ONE Japanese manufacturer try to take it to the Germans (I'm looking at you Acura and Lexus)....

If you want a fuel efficient Japanese car get an Acura or a Lexus hybrid. Infiniti knows the deal. Bring the big stick or go home.

Also i'm pretty sure the M56 will be a high 12 second car from the factory... |
wow that is ugly
here is a real M56 http://www.prexis.com/sten/m56a.jpg The M56 submachine gun appears to be a simplified clone of German MP40 submachine gun, adapted for 7,62x25mm pistol ammunition, which, compared to 9x19mm ammunition of MP40 provided longer effective range and better penetration, but slightly less stopping power. The M56 submachine gun had a relatively long service life. M56 submachine gun is blowback operated, full automatic only weapon that fires from open bolt. The bolt system is of simple design, with exposed, large diameter return spring. The cocking handle is located at the right side of the bolt and doubles as a manual safety - pushing it inwards locks the bolt in open or closed position. The stock is copied from MP40 and folds down and forward to save the length. Sights are of open type, with flip-up rear, marked for 100 and 200 meters range. One unusual feature of M56 is that it has a bayonet lug on the barrel and thus can accept a knife-bayonet. |
i've sat in one of these at an auto convention before. gotta say very pleased by the interior. imo one of the nicest interiors ive seen. better than the germans
