the rear is the good looking part. I have an '08 and one day it just hit me that the front was just hideous. with the stupid chrome mustache. I had it painted black to match and added a stillen front lip. Major improvement.

however the fact remains that its still really slow, and with the cvt its too boring. But it will make a nice Down payment on my Z :)

Just yesterday someone came into my work. {at night} and said. Hey is that your sweet nissan out back.. I was like ya sure is.. He said. Nice what is that a maxima???

I feel that Nissan took alot of design elements from the Z when they designed the Altima and Maxima, especially the slope on the back window and shape of the lights, as well as the exhaust, it pisses me off man, you'd think with all their engineers that they could design something completely and uniquely different.

It's all marketing. There are lots of guys that would love a Z but for whatever reason can't do it (2 seats, RWD, lack of cargo room). So Nissan shares design features to make the guy who gets the Maxima feel a little bit like he's got a Z. Similarities between the Altima coupe and G37 are another example.
