World's Fastest G37

Looks like I never posted this here before.

A little backstory: Joe is a good friend of mine and he originally had his TT kit installed by Ron, who built my car while he was working with JTran.

After he learned I had successfully self tuned my car on Uprev he slyly coerced me into tuning his car since "it's an auto bro, you've never done that before.." :owned:

We street tuned the car and made 556whp / 480wtq at a dynojet dyno day. Awhile after that we took it to the track with no adjustments to see what it would do.

We beat the standing G37 1/4 mile record from 12/2012 by a smidge to claim the #1 spot, but that wasn't enough for Joe. :icon18:

He asked me to tune it on a dyno, something else I've never done before. :inoutroflpuke:

You can watch the results here:

He has been daily driving the car ever since on the same single map. Now that it seems like the heat in TX will subside in the coming months we plan to retune this car with moar fuel. :happydance:

I just saw about an hour ago in north Richland hills an IPL with the tags reading "1fastG". I'm far from Houston but you never know? Was that him?
