Look at the pic above. There is no more rumors they are coming out with some concept model but we just don’t know which model yet. Very well could be the Z35 tho :)

Looking at the flower in that picture. All I think is a political correct electric car. :shakes head:

Looks like word is out
Nissan Leaf Nismo Concept heading to 2017 Tokyo Motor Show Lucky I decided to keep my Z. I would be long gone if I was holding out for Z35. ha ha |
What???? So Nissan is deciding to make a stupid Nissan Leaf and not focus on the Z. Ughhh F Nissan for that :|
|
judging from all the nature scenes in the video... probably the new fking leaf nismo or something... REALLY FKING HOPE THEY CAN SHOW THE NEW Z OR GTR
|
It will definitely be another "tree-hugger" friendly car. Hold on to your Z's people because 10 years from now, you will be glad you did.
But I do admit, the Leaf Nismo does look amazing comparatively speaking. If I had no choice but to drive an electric car, this one would probably be it. |
I guess the news of Nissan basically telling y'all, fvck the Z wasn't hint n a half for ya azzes that there IS NO Z CONCEPT COMING ANYTIME SOON.
Nissan turned bytch |
As far as I can tell, the ICE is on it's way out, so I'm guessing it will be an electric (possibly Leaf as others have mentioned).
My guess is that the 370Z's successor will be electric. A 370E? |
Hey, if there is no Z35 we will all have money to put TT kits on our Z34s.

Ha. Forget the Z35, I still think the Z34 is a beautiful car. Nissan should just do something like the 07-08 350z. Put in the VR30ddtt (fix the issues first), carry over the digital suspension from the Q50/60, pair it to the 6MT and call it a day. Sure people will bitch about the interior but ****, give me those options as a Nismo model and damn I'm a happy guy.

Something to think about electric cars. They need to be plugged in and charged. That means the electric grid has to be up-graded to handle the extra load. Look at Puerto Rico. The grid is down for months. That can happen here. Also, When the battery goes bad in an electric car. What do you do? The battery is the car. It's half the cost of the car. :shakes head: |

Well F*** Nissan. I wish they would focus more on their sports cars (the Z and GTR) :( Well I'm definitely going to hold on to my Z tight and keep her around. The future is going to go downhill for cars I feel

On the bright side, electric cars have all their torque at 1 rpm so starts from stops will be much faster. Sometimes I think fondly that the kids will all be driving electric and only some eccentrics like me keep driving their gas cars, and they wonder why we're so happy to pay $0.50/gallon when electric is almost free. |

2022, not 2017 for some of that. :icon14:

does it have more stripes? or is it a friggin newer versa, sentra, leaf, or altima? Wait! A new $135,000 GTR! What happened to the cars for us little people? Add stripes, make it yellow and keep it at the same old 332 hp! So lame! Nissan needs to get their **** together. A concept car doesn't mean anything until it goes to mass production. they suck!

In some ways. I almost understand why Nissan bytched up... But not really.
I keep going back to when this forum started out and all the people that traded out of a Z either one or two years later and their complaints. I felt 70% of the complaints were pretty stupid because they were based on unreasonable, bias comparisons of price competitive vehicles, but the cars had a totally different drive philosophy. Too many people were saying stupid Shyt like, the Z should have a v8 instead of acknowledging the Z heritage and at minimum ask for an inline 6. That's Z heritage, not a v8. People bought sport models and expected them to be track cars. Too many people didn't understand where the dollar value in the nismo was. The FM platform was becoming outdated, the engine was too course, and Nissan was slow to fix real problems. Yes, all that is true. But the Z was being singled out by consumers. It seems people forgive American car companies for being totally shytty vs Japan. I'm sure all of that frustrated Nissan leaving them confused. The public was asking for the Nissan corvette in a Porsche Cayman body. Expectations were excessively high for Nissan. People wanted a Z32 incarnate I guess. Wouldn't we all. But the reaction and overall expectationswere ludacris. So now... Us real Z fanatics are not gettinga Z35? |
