New Nismo..... Sentra
 

When I purchased my 2014 Nismo, I was kicking myself when the '15s came out with the refreshed look. I thought I should've waited..it was a nice update, and it was something new Nissan actually did for our Zs.

Turned out Nissan had a plan ($) to expand the Nismo line from being exclusive to our Zs (limited and numbered) and including it as another trim on the GT-R, Juke and now the Sentra, and I don't know what else in the future.

They all look the same imo. Nissan probably planned it that way for recognition, but as a consumer who wants their rides to stand out from the crowd (that's why we mod, right?) I'm glad my 14 doesn't look like a Sentra. I've finally made peace with my purchase lol

*Not knocking anyone with 15+..still love the Recaro seats..

IMHO, that Sentra in Nismo form is absolutely hideous. It just makes the '15+ Z Nismo just less desirable.

I must say I sadly agree with both of you. Nissan is definitely diluting the uniqueness of the '15+ nismo Z by spreading the style throughout their fleet.

That's why I'm getting rid of my red trim pieces. It doesn't fly with me.
I found legit carbon fiber replacements for the front. So just need them for the sides and rear

I'm sure if anyone can afford ANY GT-R they're not worried about it. This is about NISSAN slapping the Nismo badge around, like they did the Black package to their fleet, or the upcoming Heritage edition for 18, instead of being innovative and coming out with something new. It's mostly cosmetics

I think the 14 Nismos are the best ones they came out with. The accenting is sweet and the body kit looks much better imo. The 15 is cool and all but it looks like they tried too hard for the aggressive look. The seats are sweet though :tup:

Volk, where did you find the carbon fiber replacements? Shoot me a PM!

I just don't know.... I saw a nismo sentra sitting in the dealership when i picked up my nismo last week...

and i've been snapping necks ever since last thursday....

the sentra just can't do that.


the 15+ nismo is a beast in person.

just saying.... the nismo Z has that capability...

i do agree with you that slapping the nismo name around hurts us for sure

I've always thought the '09-'14 Nismo was the best looking 370z body, OEM or aftermarket.

Just wish it wasn't so flippin' expensive to convert.

When they put the NISMO moniker on it, that means they can charge more money...
