Not getting it, really. It's still a Jeep. For US$80 grand+ you can get any one of a bunch of very competent track-ready SUV's that do not share DNA with a Wrangler or Compass.

AMG GLC 43 4-Matic comes to mind.

80k + is insane for a jeep wait 3yrs and it will be 35-40k, and in 6 yrs. it will be some ware in the 15-20 range.
