The technology in this thing is pretty hardcore. Looks are personal choice.
If we're going to be car guys, isn't it best to actually read about it instead of assuming?
Honda has always had some pretty solid cars and this one is no exception.

This reminds me of nine years ago when everyone was hating the 370????

The car is fine, it is the type of people that buy them and what they do with them. BTW, you are in a Z forum where we have the right to be fanboys.

Honda Civic Type R

I have no problem with being a fan boy. I love my Z.

Lack of information on the other hand...

It's amazing that living in the information age how little information is actually read.

40k for a 4cyl turbo, is ridiculous.

40k can get you so many cars out there on used and new market....

when a base WRX is 25k and sti is 33k

yea but mine has a nice amuse wing on it.

Why not use the AWD drivetrain from the Pilot or MDX in the Civic? 40k plus dealer markup for FWD no longer cuts it. As Focus RS or STi or Golf R can be had for 40k and you get AWD and more power in some cases. I had a 98 Type R number 313 and it was great at 23k or so that it cost. Adjusted for inflation that's about 30k or so now.

cause heavy and dont work all dat well for high performance driving, probably.
best just use the SH-awd assist. at least put da power down off da line.

but no, too expensive.
