I bought my first ZR roadster there....I think they are the #1 GT-R dealer in the nation. You won't get much more than that off a new one...ever...

N1atmax 01-22-2017 01:21 PM

That is pretty cheap. You may get a hat or coffee mug.

ssmoked 01-22-2017 01:28 PM

I know that's a great price already, but usually the advertised price is not rock bottom

jaedub 01-22-2017 01:41 PM

GTR forum should know

DOOMMONKEY777 01-22-2017 04:50 PM

Tell em to take the turbos off, front wheel drive axle and back seats, should cost near this now https://www.nissanusa.com/buildyourn...preq=435498512

Or

Keep the turbos and the back seat, you can get this http://www.infinitiusa.com/buildyour...2017/q60-coupe

Both options are cheaper

That seems like a really good deal. My local has a new 2016 but they want a hundred.

There are a bit of difference between 16 and 17 model

UNKNOWN_370 01-22-2017 07:33 PM

$28,000 off.... how much more can you knock off of the $28,000 they cut the price? Lol. I guess anythings possible???

My best guess though would be shop for a cheaper car. Lol.

nomodsjk 01-22-2017 08:32 PM

That's shockingly low

ssmoked 01-22-2017 11:10 PM

^That's what first year depreciation looks like. Or a bit more.

GTR aren't as desirable as when it first came out, so they don't retain value as well

DCNISMO 01-23-2017 02:57 PM

The used GTR market is soft too. I was on cars.com and checking prices, some under 50K now.

Those 50k GTR most likely need $8k brake and rotor job, $2k fluid changes, $2k tires...and who knows how much it was modded, raced, launched and abused.

I know a local guy here sold a Z and paid close to $67k for a 2013 with mid 20k miles. For that price, I rather negotiate more and cough up another $10k for a brand new one

Some seem to be up on service. if new ones, that are not selling are at 100K, then it makes sense that older ones are at the 50K mark or so or under. Just like any exotic out of warranty, read up on them and know what to look for. JUst like in a 911, if you are good with a wrench and computer, you can cuts those costs down quite a bit. Does a GTR require a Durametric tool or something like that to read codes and clear them? Do ABS work?

So we have as an example....

https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...2577/overview/

a bit more money, was less miles still under 50K

https://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/d...1034/overview/

Its cheap, but high miles...now IF it was going to blow up...chances are it would have by now.

I recently sold my Z and bought a '13 GTR for 64k. My GTR has 25k miles and it had mild previous damage due to being hit in a parking lot and scraped on the side. The lowest '13 I have seen is 68k. I ALWAYS was on Auto trader looking for cars and had a set search. If you want some cheap junked up GTR, go ahead and spend 50k but you will spend thousands making sure all of the wear and tear is good to go again and you are risking that someone dogged it pretty bad as many that low had say 80k miles on them! I found these things level off in the 60's unless you want a 09/10 but those in great condition low miles still ask 60k.

There's a 2012 R title by me for 45k not worth it because like you said you'll have tone of money invested to make it right plus no resale value with R title. Might as well get a 2012-2014 for 65k with no damage and decent miles.

If you plan on keeping it forever then R title is not an issue lol

DCNISMO 01-27-2017 02:46 PM

If the blond is included I'll bid 65k.

Your GTR 64k before ttl and dealer fee or otd?

How much did they offer the 370 trade in?
