We had a good run.....

What's up everyone? I haven't been active on this forum for quite sometime now and seeing as I have been M.I.A. for months, it's probably time to give an explanation. I felt as though I had reached the end of the road with my 370z in terms of mods without going boosted, this being my daily driven car at the time (before street bikes came into my life) I thought that supercharging/turbocharging my Z might not have been the best option for me. However with a 2009 motor with only 53,000 miles on it I don't think that there was a high chance of something going wrong but nevertheless I hesitated with that decision. Back in October 2015 I placed my order for my 2016 Yas Marina 6MT F82 BMW M4 (quite a title) the selection was limited in my area and those dealers that would have the exterior/interior packages that I was looking for would have the wrong transmission, or certain packages would be missing from the build. So I went the route of ordering a brand new one off the assembly line. I was given a 6-8 week build time AFTER the production number was entered into the system so lets say about 10 weeks after the order was placed I was supposed to have the keys in my hand. Fast forward to the end of March where I am just BARELY getting the car in my possession. Nearly everything that could have went wrong with my delivery did, beginning with the car being damaged in transport, becoming lost, being delivered to 3 wrong dealers across California and forgetting to put in my order for my HRE P101s that were supposed to come on the car :shakes head:Long story short the dealer that I had ordered the car through tried their best to make up for their lack of communication throughout the ordering process. Needless to say I will not be returning to this dealer for future business that's for sure. :ugh2:

But anyways although it may be a few months past due here's my new baby :icon17::happydance::driving:

Wow. Congratulations! Very nice color and consistent with you old Z (What did you do with the Z?). Neighbor has the red one with all the CF options and it looks fantastic. Lots of great things this car can do (Yoda speak). Being a BMW, do you have the same plans to keep it just long enough before it starts to..... you know.

I had to stick with the same "color scheme" when I ordered this one. I'm a huge fan of blue, black, and carbon. If you saw my Z rolling around it's going to be my brother, grateful to be able to have kept the Z in the family

Thank you, like I said I passed the Z on to my brother who has been eyeing that car since the day I got it. Lucky bastard will never have to spend another dime on mods unless again he wants to go down the road of boost. Only thing that sucks with this car is the price for mods, nearly everything I want to do is 2-3 times more expensive. Example is coilovers, ~$1,500 for Nissan and ~$4,000 for BMW. Crazy market to modify in but I'll make due. With the delivery being completely :shakes head: I worked in free service for 6 years and 100,000 mile warranty so I should be able to keep this one going for awhile. But I love the car so far. Sitting relatively stock besides intake mods, cosmetic mods, suspension and wheels. Waiting to get my tune done to get rid of my 165 mph speed governor:excited::driving:
