Which Dedicated Sports Car would you choose under $150k

The second stage demographic..

I choose the AMG GT-S based on its 4.0 turbo and its lithe hood design. This is one sports car I wouldn't mind loading up either. !2cu ft of trunk, Large enough for long trips... :driving:

GT3 for the win alllllllllllllllll day! Its best out of the box and hellllllooooooooooo resale!!!

jaytirbhaw 05-01-2015 01:14 PM

I'd take the GT3 , #porschefanboy

vividracing 05-01-2015 01:14 PM

I'd go with either the Viper or GT3, leaning to the GT3 for its sexy looks.

Chuck33079 05-01-2015 01:17 PM

I'm torn. MB or Jag for a fast, civilized GT. Z06 because 'Murica, **** yeah. Or the GT3 just because you can.

m4a1mustang 05-01-2015 01:18 PM

For a dedicated sports car... GT3 all the way.

If I wanted something a little more grand-toury I'd choose the AMG or the F Type.

Firebase99 05-01-2015 01:38 PM

Im a P car guy, but 911 Turbo S or bust for me, so R8. Ive driven one and it lives up to it.

6spd 05-01-2015 02:53 PM

Gotta be the Porsche. I love the R8, but by dedicated sports car, I think track time, so the Porsche would take it.

UNKNOWN_370 05-01-2015 03:00 PM

GT-3 would be my second choice. The sounds have me addictedhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=/0-Hx71UNV3Y

viper for me... aggressive, unique looks and raw v10 power... wanted one for years... maybe someday

TerribleONE 05-01-2015 03:37 PM

Z06 so I can row my own gears.

SR71 05-02-2015 04:05 PM

GT3 all day!

falconfixer 05-02-2015 05:12 PM

Which one of those represents having the tiniest ****?

i thought that only applied to driving huge monster pick-ups :stirthepot:

DjSquall 05-05-2015 05:10 AM

GT-3 all day

MagmaRed370z 05-05-2015 07:11 AM

GT3, but the MB is great too!

POS VETT 05-05-2015 11:23 AM

For $150k, I would get an Ariel Atom 500.

Davey 05-05-2015 12:11 PM

Definitely the GT3

RicerX 05-05-2015 12:18 PM

Y U NO GT-R Nismo?

rooftop 05-05-2015 12:19 PM

Gt3

BlackZeda 05-05-2015 01:41 PM

I love the concept of the GT-S, but every time I see it the weirder it looks. Nice front clip, but it looks like they were trying to out-curve and out-round a Porsche. Since that is the case I will just vote for the Porsche.

carlitos_370z 05-05-2015 01:55 PM

Porsche GT3 RS All day long :driving: love that damn car man! and I hope someday have one...

To me it looks more like a Super-Luxurified, Ultra-Modernized 240z. And i believe, there will be a relationship in styling between the Z35 and the GTS.

Eclipz 05-05-2015 08:01 PM

Only 1 other person showing the Audi R8 some love. the new styling looks great except for the front

Seriously! You lose so little money when it comes to selling a GT car. A good lawyer can easily make an argument saying it's almost as affordable as an economy car... It cost about $5k (excluding tax) for someone to have purchased a 997 gt3 rs, put about $5k miles over 3 years, and sold it after. I would gladly pay $5k to have a gt3 rs for 3 years...

Obvi im making these numbers up, but I don't imagine they're that far off

And there's a reason why majority of track day cars on the ring are GT3's.

Jordo! 05-06-2015 04:20 AM

I am very much in love with the new Jag... but that Porsche would be hard to turn down. Very much like the new Merc too.

UNKNOWN_370 05-06-2015 12:14 PM

In a perfect world, i'd own both the GT-3 and the GTS. That would be approximately $300,000 worth of cars. Hmmm, Ferrari F12 instead... anyone? lol.

my buddy just picked up a 2016 AWD F-Type R and it is Sexy as hell, and that exhaust!!

b15 05-17-2015 10:46 AM

It's a tie between the GT3 and F-Type R for me. Not on the list and my top pick however, is the Cayman GT4. :yum:
