From what I recall this was done with a non production motor, a roll cage (added rigidity), and a stripped interior. Definitely super fast but I don't think accurate to a production car.

Have to say though I'm not a fan of that Civic R look, especially the back end - the wing is, as we say here, a little bit full-on :)
