Thanks for the kind words!

Asking $18,995 now.

Sun Auto ground and voltage kit won't be included, and as a heads up, all of the vinyls will be taken off prior to sale.

Looks nice for what its worth

Celcius, have you tried forumshawaii.net? I think shipping from SoCal to Hawaii is <$1K.
Good luck with the sale.

Did you keep the OEM parts you replaced?

I say strip it to stock, sell the parts and the car separately, you are sure to make more than you are looking at getting put together.

Edit: I reread and saw that you kept some OEM parts.

It's the car he chose and he modified it. He probably did so to enjoy himself, not to make a point about the superiority of the Civic over some other vehicle.

In any case, BUMP, for a nice ride.

Completely agree, yea its not a 370 but look at the work and pride thats been put into it. A tuner is a tuner, and in my opinion (I'm not a civic fan either) its a really nice looking and probably running car.

I'm sure u can find someone who will really jump on this once they see it, not sure if the370.com is the place but your sure as hell gonna sell it.

Good luck with the sale.

I have not. Not sure I'd want to deal with the hassle of shipping a car even if it's under 1k. Sounds like too many things can go wrong between here and there.

The car is still for sale, but I think I'm going to part out now. I haven't received any serious offers, mostly people asking if they can make payments to me(is this some new fad or something?) instead of financing it through a bank. I'm still pretty young, but to me it sounds like a scam or a liability issue at the very least.

I'm waiting on the editors of Super Street and Honda Tuning to get back to me. Both said they might be interested in featuring it, but I want to sell it and every day I wait for a response is another day that the car sits in the garage depreciating... at least the car I want to buy will be depreciating as well, so I suppose they cancel eachother out? :eekdance:

Naw just have the buyer worry about that if they are from Hawaii.

Bump for a nice car! Good luck with the sale OP. Buyer will def be getting a clean car.

jookiyaya 09-20-2009 08:02 AM

yeah definately, I was a honda lover forEVER until just about a month ago.

my mods in the past were the 6th generation civic, 99 ex and 00 SI
and the last production of the 2001 integra type R.
i think i spent over 10k converting the acura into a honda integra type R.

ever since i got my 370z, its such a different experience. my boss and i talk about his s2k all the time, i remember we used to roll down artesia blvd in orange county, cali in my type R and his s2k and just flooring it, *sigh* memorrriesss*

good luck on the sale. I think your best bet would be to take off most of the perfomance parts and sell them separately- and recoup some of the money spent.

I had an RSX-s ( same motor) with the same turbo kit and it was a beast... but I did get the hondata K-pro stand alone. E-manage is straight garbage and its by far the weakest spot on your car- holding you down big time.... a second, and close weak link are your injectors.... i'm surprissed you got 260 whp with those injectors....

So if anyone is thinking about picking this up, the motor is stout! and the car, with that turbo, Kpro, injectors and a tune is a beast and will destroy any 370Z with all bolt ons ( less FI)

My rsx would kill my roomates 03 Cobra when starting a 40mph+ and would hang toe to tow with modded 03 cobras... I may even post up some vidz if i'm not too lazy... and that was at a little over 300 whp and methanol injection to help the 550cc maxed out injectors.

Good luck on the sale!

The kit's held up well over the year and a half that I've had it so far. It's gone through about 12k miles of travel. It's still fiberglass, so don't expect it to have much give or take like your stock bumper does.

Anyways, I'm giving up. I've taken my listings down on all the other forums. I might just keep it for a while longer or part it out. Not sure yet. :driving:
