300ZX for Sale (1990)

Update: SOLD
The Z passed SMOG! It is up and running!!

I have finally decided to sell my 1990 300ZX, I don’t want to do it but my wife says we need more garage space since I got the 370z.

Asking $5200

The Car is currently with Z Car Garage, San Jose, for evaluation… It needs SMOG Work.

Got off the phone with Rob of, Z Car Garage, the car does need a lot of work to get it going in tip top shape.
1) High Idle
2) leaky valve gasket causing oil to leak on driver 02 sensor, smoking

Details
1990 (1989 build date)
NA manual transmission
Miles: ~ 155,000
Azure Blue, less than 1400 of these ever made, one of the reasons I never had it re-painted, i.e. still original paint… some would say it needs a paint job and in some areas it does indeed need care.
Mostly stock, TT front-end and spoiler done by previous owner.
2+2 (4 seater) Even more rare in this color.

Add on’s
JW-ECU w/ AIVs removed (big plus!), I still have original AIV parts in the garage.
Custom exhaust, unknown brand
Custom “Pop-charger” intake
Eibach with KYB adjustable front & rear struts, extra set of brand new front KYB struts included, NIB!
225/50/16 front 245/45/16 rear 70-75% tread left

what else?

Update:
The Z passed SMOG! It is up and running!! :driving:

1) still has a leak at the Valve cover gasket rear area leaking oil on the driver 02 sensor.
2) has a high idle, not sure what is causing it.
3) Paint needs work.
4) The Z has no major body damage, normal wear and tear on mostly original suspension parts... i.e. tension rods, and other parts with rubber bushings.
Selling “As Is”

Really nice looking car. Any interior pics?

I just had the passenger seat re-done (Katzkin) a few weeks ago.... procrastinated for about 8 years! the driver side was done about 8 years ago.

It is a bit hard to take pics of the inside, dark blue all around!

here's one:
I'll try to get a couple more tomorrow/weekend

Beautiful car!

is this N/A or twin turbo?

The coolant sensor might need replacement, which is probably the reason for the high idle. IIRC, my dad had the same issue as well with his Z32-TT. Is it idling smooth?

I took a walk around video this last Saturday... to show some of the cosmetic issues. There are a few, can you catch and count them? ;)

Very nice, I love the color. Not sure how to manage a long distance purchase.
