Norcal Mini Meet and Drive 9/28
 

Hello everyone,

I will be putting a mini meet and drive together for anyone who is interested. This is my first time organizing a meet/drive so any help would be appreciated.

To start off the day we would arrive at Lucilles Smokehouse BBQ, one of the best new spots around to grab a good BBQ lunch. After digesting for a bit we would make our way past Clayton and then onto Marsh Creek Road and follow it into Livermore/Dublin. Getting onto the 580 West and arriving in the Hacienda Crossings for the final goodbye.

The drive takes approximately one hour and ten minutes. It has great twisties along the way. As far as the rest of the day whoever would be interested I plan on seeing the new "Rush" Formula 1 movie that opens that weekend. I made the times throughout the day to work best with the traffic/movie times and hopefully everyone's schedules to keep your night free if needed. As far as the Mt. Diablo fire I belief it will all be mopped up by the designated date, if not I will postpone the meet for another time. Don't be shy and come to meet everyone as I am new to the Z family this year. I will start a list in the next post for those who plan to attend, add you name and I will update as we go.

Not gonna be able to make this one, got military drill that weekend. Hopefully I can make the next one!

We'll see how much interest there is and possibly move it to 10/05 is it happens to work out better for everyone.

I'm down to intercept at 580 and meet with you guys in Dublin. Starting point is too far from me but Dublin meet is perfect.

I believe I'll be available to join in :)... I'll post this up on FB for BAZ & SVZG groups... I think we'll get more ppl going :)

Bump, updated the list and created a parking spot map for the initial arrival.

Morgan Territory Rd. is pretty rough, drove that road with a bunch of GTR's and a couple sections did damage. Once you're out the tree's it's better. Just FYI to those that are lowered.

I agree with Xpnsd It and updated the drive route to accommodate lowered cars, the drive time is about the same. To prevent any damages and to make the day/drive more enjoyable I moved the route to continue on Marsh Creek Rd and to Vasco Rd. All in all the day should be more enjoyable and hope to see more come out even if for the initial meet, drive and/or end spot.

Okay so I'm going to the exhaust shop in the morning, but I'm going to try to meet at the BBQ Joint in Concord for the full meet. Are we meeting at noon and then sitting down for lunch? Or should we have already ate by noon?

The Plan is to meet at the parking spot at noon, then sit down for lunch. If you would like we could meet up in Dublin and caravan to Concord since we are near each other. PM me if you would like to do that and glad to see your gonna make it out.

I'm coming from Manteca, but Dublin is cool because I work on Hacienda and am very familiar with the area and route. Meeting up is cool. I'll hit you up later on in the week when I have a better idea of what my morning will look like.

Alright, I'm officially committed to the whole meet and cruise (you can update the second post). Would like to see some more participation though. I will have my son with me (he's 5), so I hope you all don't mind kids. He loves Z's.

Family is certainly welcome^, hopefully some from Facebook will show up that may not be on the Forums.

That BBQ place was hella yummy. I'd love to do this same meet again, except this time with more people showing up.
