Review! Z Car Garage!

After months and months having these ART pipes sitting in my room collecting dust I finally got tired of looking at them so a phone call made to Rob@Zcargarage to inquire him about getting these bad boys installed along with a retune. When I got there Rob greeted me with a big smile on his face singing along with his his rock and roll music. (The man is funny as hell when he sings) Soon after that my car went in to his dyno room to do 2 pulls for a before and after tune numbers. I was very happy that my numbers were just about the same as it did from GTM over 1.5 yrs ago.

So, we got the numbers logged then now it went straight to his mechanic to get my OEM Meow's removed. His mechanic Anthony who worked on my car did a fantastic job, I am very pleased with his work and knowledge about our car's. I've heard horror stories about nuts getting striped and 02's getting broken when removing the Meow's but that's not the case here. They did a 100% job removing them. Absolutely pleased with the work! They even went as far as helping me scrape off the plastic bag I had caught on my exhaust pipes and replaced my missing exhaust gasket even though I said I will take care of that on my own at a later time. Rob and his crew at Zcargarage definitely went above and beyond to make me happy.

Here's the final part of this review! Car went back onto the dyno to tune my car and unfortunately we couldn't gain any additional final numbers for a number of reasons. Boost was dropping off up top and we did not want to take any more chances as my car had already been through a lot in the past with another kit that caused some detonation. However we gained more useable low end TQ and that alone made the car feel so much funner to drive around now, I don't need to really really stomp on the pedal for it to go. All I can say is that tiny bit of change of the TQ curve really made a big difference.

For anyone that wants any work done to their Z's or G's. Zcargarage is your one stop shop with fair prices and what's good is the owner will entertain your throughout your stay.

Thank you Rob and the crew at Zcargarage!

AGREED!!!!

Rob is very fun to work with. He did a ton of my mods and put on a sweet tune. His shop is highly recommended all over this site. He is a man of passion, and loves my car as much as I do. (hard to believe)

While working on my Z he drove me to the ariport and picked me up after a few days traveling when it was done. He also loaned me his wife's G when a part showd up to late to finnish my clutch as promised. In other words, he had a small snag delivering my car on time (one day) but cheerfully made it right.

I cannot say enough good things about that shop.

Agreed Rob does great job on our platform. He got my Stillen kit to put out 437 whp our last round with my long tube PPE headers!

Agreed! Rob really is a quirky funny guy. Took great care of my Z and will definitely be going to him many more times.
