Affordable Place To Paint Calipers?

I need a recommendation on where I can get my calipers painted yellow. WHeel Techniques quoted me 500-650 depending on the job. Anywhere else that is cheaper? Thanks guys!

It should only take a day to paint.

Hey OP! I would stay away from Wheel Techniques. I've had some work done from their guys a couple of years ago and I was not pleased with the results. The customer service was even worse.

A couple of places that powder coat in the Bay Area:
RMS Wheels
California Wheels (awesome guys, very helpful)

the link is not working right now... but through this forum, you can buy the Akebono decals to stick on.

Thanks for the advice Zdar! I have the Akebono stickers already so all I need is a good price on powdercoating.

I charge 350 for sport calipers, 250 for base calipers.

Premium members get a 50 discount on sport, 25 on base calipers from that price

Shipping is flat rate 30

I have one core sport caliper set available for exchange, there is a refundable 650 core charge.

I completely disassemble the calipers, clean all the pistons, seals and dust boots, strip original finish off of them, coat them, apply logos, and then reassemble everything so you just have to bolt them on.

I've been doing this professionally for 7 years this October and have done over 2000 sets of brake calipers now, mostly for corvettes and camaros.

Although I've never had any work done by Mike the powdercoater but I have heard nothing but great things about him from my friends who had theirs done by him. So, +1 for Mike

I talked to RMS and they quoted me wayy lower than wheel techniques to powdercoat the calipers. Thanks RMS!! Going to get my wheels powdercoated with the money I save on the calipers. Wheel techniques is too expensive. :eekdance:
