Car got keyed. Know any detail shop?

My wife's car got keyed pretty bad. I used Meguiar's Scratch X 2.0 Scratch Remover but it's still noticeable especially pic #1.

Pic 1 - I think the scratch went deep thru the paint.

Pic #2-4 - I used Scratch X remover and it helped. I think some buffing will remove the scratch.

You guys know any reputable shop?

Do you know any reputable shop that can buff it out?

I do not know of any shops, but here is a lnk that provides ideas of what could be done to the f**king people who get their jollies by keying cars.

hey OP

if you haven't taken care of this yet, you may want to consider taking it to a pro detailer first to see if some clear coat work can do the job. the scratch actually doesn't look too terribly deep in the pictures you posted. i was really surprised to find out how well a good detailer was able to get rid of pretty serious scratches. if you want to consider that route, reach out to this guy:

Distinctiv_Detailing

he's better than any shop i've been to; an engineering student who invested in some pro equipment and who loves cars and does extensive detail work to a few cars every weekend. you can check out his work on his website.

if the scratch def. warrants paint work, then i second williams auto body in san mateo. the guy did minor paint work on my PW after a parking lot injury, and he paint-matched the three step pearl paint flawlessly. i know PW is tough to match, so i think that speaks to his skill. as a bonus, he also flat-blacked my front fangs and rear fascia for an extra 300$ on top of the repair cost. not bad at all (and it made the repair something to look fwd to).

^thanks. i will call and check the place out.
