Default Can anyone recommend an east bay Car Audio Shop for install?

I was getting the run around from a local shop. I don't want to name them, yet since the owners a friend of a friend.

Everything was ordered in advance, and I was told to drop the car off on last weekend. 4 days later I call to check on progress, response "it will be another week or so". I asked what was done. Their response was, "nothing yet" still waiting on parts. I go down, and find my new Nismo parked outside, covered in dust. I guess it was parked in the area they do the wood fabrication, cause dust is everywhere.

Needless to say I was pissed! I asked for the keys told them I was not coming back. They apologized and said they understood my frustration.

So now, I'm looking for another reputable shop.
Any suggestions?

I'm installing a Pioneer z120bt, Hertz Speakers, JL 900/5 amp and JL 13tw5 sub in a Wicked CAS box.

What a pain. I'd be pretty ripped about all of the wood dust too. Pretty abrasive stuff.

Where did you order your Hertz speakers from, if I might be so nosey? I'm really wanting to get some, but I can't find anywhere to order what I'm looking for.

Car Audio Warehouse in San Leandro.
I purchased them from the owner, John. He was very helpful. I've had them for about a year. Sitting in my garage. I got them for my S2000, but never used them, since I sold that car.
They are the HSK 165 components. I personally have listened to them a few times in friends cars and love them.
They are not the highest end unit, but for my ears and budget they are perfect.

Being an installer for many years before I moved on, Id have to say that what you are installing is only a day to day and half tops. No need to let anyone keep your car for a week.

Cool. Thanks man. I'm not looking for major speakers either. Just good quality.
Much appreciated.

Junior's Car Stereo in Fremont.

Junior's Car Stereo:

I get all my work done there. You can see one of my old installs in his gallery. I had the first in dash xbox back when it first came out. I think he took down the pick of my trunk though. 4-10"s that hit 156.5db. Lol... and I originally never wanted that much sound in my Integ, but once the ball started rolling I couldn't stop.

Has anyone had any experience with the shops in and around Concord / Walnut Creek? Need to bring my car in to remedy the crappy stock stereo situation.
