Supercharger orderd and ready to install
Stillen Supercharger ordered and being installed by z car garage will keep u all updated on the build. First Northern California supercharged 370z?
|
Awesome!
There is one being finalized at Beshoff Infiniti.. held up by some warranty work.. but definitely one of the first.. and I believe the first 370Z! |
Congrat.
Im sure you are the first supercharged on nor cal and im the first TT nor cal lol lets meet up someday maybe next friday? |
Realisticaly, what should my budget be if I supercharged the Z and targeted HP is a modest 400? 7spd auto, daily driven.
|
In for progress
|
JT/ i say $5000-6000 for kit and extra $1000 for install and little extra parts are optional except oil cooler. That this is must
for me when i was goin for SC. Ill get headers, oil cooler, HFC or testpipe, exhaust, and flywheels and clutch which you dont ever have to think about for your tranny lol i can say about $10k is fair enough for it |
Oh and you will easily pass 400whp with any supercharger
you are looking for about 450hp |
Andyz is pretty much spot on the prices. The one thing i did to spoil myself was to get the hks camp II with all the sensors. Basically all of my engine info is related back to me through my navigation than through gauges. Keeps it alot cleaner looking and unfortunately alot more money than a few guages.
For info on the hks campII HKS USA CAMP2 (more) |
will there be pics of the install?
|
^^ pictures and write up to follow. Ordered everything yesterday work to start at beginning of next week. Hopefully earlier:happydance:
|
congrats, just wondering how much there charging you for the install?
|
its 10 - 12 hours of work. most shops charge $100 to $150 an hour. Luckily since this is one of the first installs im getting a special deal. Wish i could elaborate more. Beshoff infiniti wanted like $2700 for install :bowrofl:

it was not because of my driving habbit,
the oil stucked up in turbo oil line, and pressured up leaked out to the oil seal first of all, i dont race much, once in about 1~2week? |
any update on supercharger?
i wanna see how this thing can roar lol |
Still waiting on stillen. The kit was installed on july 7 and its still not drivable. I think they gave up. Save your money and don't deal with stillen that's my advise they have been nothing short of a joke.
