Is there any place in the bay area that does headlight mods?

vipor 01-22-2010 10:36 AM

Ah thanks!
I was just trying to find a local place so I don't have to go thru all the hassle shipping it haha
if there isn't Id just send it off to get it done xP

i'm sure they can charge you for a core and credit you once they receive your stock lights and they're inspected. it's really the only way to do it.

keep in mind the core will be more than the work

Calvin 01-22-2010 10:46 AM

Yeah I'll probably find time and take my car to MR works if possible so they can do it. San Diego is around 5 hrs away I believe

vipor 01-22-2010 10:49 AM

just take the long way, enjoy it :driving:

Calvin 01-22-2010 10:51 AM

Haha yah
just didn't want to not have my headlights in my car for a couple days cause of the shipping process xP
I rather get it done on the spot and I love driving this car lol so a 10hrs roundtrip sounds fun

I'm interested also. If you guys find out anything, please let me know. Thanks.

why dont you just do it yourself? its easy enough unless you want a million LEDs everywhere

only bad part is if u make a mistake that messes up your headlights..then a big chunk of change has to come out of your pocket to get it fixed or replaced =[

Has anybody done something similar with the JDM rear lights? I think the large clear area with a smoked back would look great in both the front and back of the car.

Also, are there any options for the center brake lights? Is it only a red plastic lens or are their red led/clear plastic kits for that as well?
