well I officially will never drive down 880 again..

Not one but two rock chips in my windshield... and one has already formed a 6in crack.... I don't get it.. My audi had one chip in the 100,000 miles that i drove it... My Z though... 2 chips in 3,000 miles..... are these windshields super weak or did i just win the lottery twice?
:shakes head:

I just did a full windshield replacement on mine 21 Jan 2016.. Already had 3 rock chips filled, then the last rock hit resulted in and 18 inch crack with 3 other spider lines attached. This is 2014 that Ive had for 17 months. My 2013 NISMO had 4 or 5 chips to fill in as well. And I only had it for 18 months.

Don't even get me started on chips in the windshield...my 3rd on is destroyed already. lol

Are our Z's just more prone to attracting rocks due to the design of them or somethibg? Or are the windshields just made out of tissue paper?

I hear you! Plus paint chips on the hood, even when clear-bra'd from all the s**t they pour on the roads over the winter months … with the stones still covering the roads in the spring and early summer.

Don't blame the windshield. Its the luck of the draw.

knock on wood - nothing yet. drive daily on 880, there is a lot of debris tho.

Change your comprehensive deductible to $0 (it's a cheap upgrade). Your insurance will cover it and it will NOT affect your premium. Good luck!
