Local 2013+ Z w/ SRM help me?

Hi, I'm new to the forum and was looking to pickup a 2013+ 370z and would love to have a closer look, the local dealer doesn't have them in stock and I may just buy one from another state and have it shipped to me.

If your local (San Jose/Santa Clara) and have a 2013+ Z with sync rev match I'd love to take a look/ride in your car! Of course I can return the favor in my current car.

Just shoot me a PM if your willing to help.

I'm in Palo Alto/Mountain View, my car is a 2010 40th with SRM. It's not 2013+ but send me a PM if you'd like to meet.

thanks for the response guys! I was able to test one this morning. I guess I don't really care for the SRM so my options are now more open. I wanted the 2013+ because of the newer design and warranty.

I didn't like SRM at first either, it messed with my habits of stick shaking and manual rev matching. The first few months I drove with it off. Then I got my meisterschaft exhaust... Now it's always on and I downshift every gear! I love the gurgling and popping. It's really grown on me... Give it time, don't get a base, find a nice touring sport fully loaded.

Don't be so sure you don't want SRM because the Sport Pkg is totally worth it. If you like to rev-match yourself, it can be a little annoying. But you can always turn it off. SRM was a must-have when I was searching for the Z, but after the fact, it turns out I am more happy about having the upgraded sport brakes and wheels more than SRM. I leave SRM on during my daily commute for the most part and turn it off for spirited driving when I want to do the rev matching myself.

One thing I think can be very beneficial is using SRM to learn how the car wants to be driven. Pay attention and it'll tell you what RPMs it likes in each gear at various speeds. Good for newb MT drivers and can even be helpful to experienced MT drivers that are out of practice a bit :twocents:

Also ^THIS. The sport brake package is a MUST, even if only DD...
