[QUOTE=Spec Jay;1095453]its not so much how low it is rather how how much it sticks out forward past oem, its about as low as the oem beard.

I hope I don't have to slow down every time I enter any driveway.. That would suck.. Oh well.. beauty hurts...

Still need a really good paint shop!

I haven't used either one. No one can match the paint 100% unless they paint the body. I've used aldercrest rebuild.

So - I called aldercrest rebuild - really nice guy.. But does not want to touch the body kit becasue it's fiberglass... Damnnnnnnnn

And I talked to Bel-Red Rebuild as CNC motorsports told me they are a great shop.. Well $1,500.00 to do the job and install!! YIKES!! $1000.00 to just paint.. Crazy right? Or am I the crazy one?

I don't know if you got the kit or not but you should buy the real kit so it doesn't require work to make it fit. Painting should be about $600.

You can count on angling and slowing down since you're lowered.

I have the aerojacket replica. Fittment is good except the rear drivers side.. I have the updated one on the way so we'll see how it goes.

Hit up JR at TAJ collision in Issaquah, not the cheapest but they do amazing work!

I had Barrett's Collision in Lakewood do my Nismo kit and it turned out pretty good. Though the best way would be to feather it into the body. But I think blue is more forgiving than white.

Update : no go on the Sunline - Getting Amuse

So - I had the paint shop "Try" to install the kit but the side skirts did not fit correctly.. So the front lip and the rear spats were fine. But my guy had already painted the front lip, side skirts, and rear spats before we realized that the side skirts were not up to my specifications..

Long story short - lip will be for sale and rear spats will be too here in about a week.

I'm ordering the Amuse body kit..

If anyone is interested in the rear spats or front lip - let me know.. I will throw in the side skirts for free if you want to give them a try..

azn370z 05-26-2011 05:15 PM

You should test fit anything that's not oem. You should get the real kit and not a knock off.looking forward to another z with a bodykit. Come to that meet next Saturday.

Spec Jay 05-27-2011 01:13 AM

Sorry for the late reply.. Got it from a guy on the forum that got it from Rick at VIP.. The front lip is fine and the rear spats are fine, but the side skirts were not spot on.. Could I have made them work, yes - but they would not have looked that great.. Hard to explain..

But will be selling the lip and rear spats soon.. :) Hope to get the Amuse kit on this week..

BelRed Auto

They did Griffy Jrs flair kit on his Panemara…………I know ..yuk but the trust was there. I met Dominick Little the owners son at a gas station (~1 year ago) and he ran over to me and gave his card saying they'd love to do some 370Z work.

So I tried to go to Bel-Red Auto and in the end they wanted to charge me $4K to do the work.. Paint and install.. WTF.. I'm going to get into the auto paint business!!
