What wheels did you get?

Titan1080 03-19-2011 10:00 PM

I got some OEM R35 GT-R wheels, needs some coilovers now, the Z is practically a monster truck compared to you lowered guys lol! I suppose I could go rallying in the Z...:driving:

Yeah, they're bolt-ons. I'm not desperate to sell them so I really can't be bothered to ship them, sorry dude!

Here's a couple from last week after I installed them, one of the pics shows how far out the wheel stuck with the spacer on. The offsets are just about perfect for the Z, though the fronts could probably use maybe a 10mm spacer to get a little more tire clearance from the spindle, it's a very tight fit.

Nice! You know what? You don't need a drop. And if you do I would just get some mild drop springs like the tein H tech or RS*R springs. You could also go with the Swifts. IMHO coilovers would be a waste of money as you cannot do too low with those wheels...

I thought you got the fi exhaust?

Ya but with coils, atleast he could change his mind later down the road. Ill be upgrading from my springs to some BC ER's soon. Hate my drop in the rear, and if i ever go with different wheels id like the adjustment.

I did get the FI as well, wallet is a smoldering pile of ashes! I'll be running stock suspension for a long while... I do eventually want to get coilovers, if only for the ride height adjustability and shock settings, but yeah, I don't want to go too low anyways. If I can get back to stock height with this wheel and tire combo and have some adjustable shocks, I'll be happy.
