Carlisle PA auto show

So it looks like TST might get canceled due a butt load of rain...the reschedule date is the same as the Carlisle auto show.

Over in the mid-atlantic group in the south central Pennsylvania thread we are trying to get a group of Z's to buy tickets for non judged car show parking.

non-judged show parking is $50.00 for 1 car/2 people for both days. We are looking to all park together as a big Z group so the sooner we get spots reserved the better. I anyone is for sure going and would like to join us please enter into the SCPA thread and we will update the list.

What about entering the Judged show... kinda pointless to pay so much to not even have a chance to walk away with something? :ugh2:

MyKindaGuise 04-18-2012 10:44 PM

Haha have you seen the cars that enter the judged show? Go look at some pics on the website. My Z is still stock other than me dropping it in 2days and some plastidipped emblems :/

Okay, so we won't have 15 tv screens in our cars, but so what. That's why most (good) shows have different tiers that you can enter so you're not judged next to a $50k show only car.

And I've seen, and read here on the forum of bone stock Z's winning shows.

I've never seen your car, Chris. Maybe it's show worthy, but most of us in this group have either just gotten our cars or have done little in terms of mods yet.

Carlisle is a big deal. There are several levels of competition. You can be on the show grounds unjudged, be judged in the competition, or apply to be part of the invitation only show building. The point of getting all together on the non-judged show grounds is to have fun. The $50 is the same cost for general admission as a spectator for 2 people for the show, but instead of parking on a lot somewhere, we will get to part on the show grounds as a group.

What Gixxer said^

I plan on parking with the group no matter what unless I get a bunch of time and money in the next 2-3 weeks.lol I am going to try to get some stuff done so I can finally stop being the only one in the original group with a stock Z (:

Bump to the top. We have "The370Z.com" as a recognized car club at the Carlisle show. Register for the non-judged show field and get your car and 2 people admitted for the weekend for 50 bucks. That's as much as it would be just to attend and park in the lot.
This is a cool show, and Carlisle is not really that far. Let's get some more Z's signed up and have a good turnout.

"Cars at Carlisle" is nationally recognized and this is a good opportunity to get the northeast region and the370z some good recognition.

Though I'm new to the club, I agree. I've only had my Z for a few weeks, so I'm bone stock, but I'll go to help Rep the club. Good chance to meet other members and see what everyone else has done. Maybe a good way to plug the start of Cars' and Cigars in the Fredericksburg area too; who knows...Thought that is Mother's day weekend...hmmmmm

Ha your not the only one. Most of us are recent owners and are fairly stock. I'm hoping to have my ark and hopefully springs done by the show. Also about mothers day...trust me I'm already getting crap haha but the ends at 4 on Sunday so I'm making it up in the evening. Send flowers ahead of time to keep her cool :P besides this is going to be awesome.
