haha well out in ohio at a "ok" track i was runnin 13.3-13.7 with brand new michellan PSS tires but it was also 90 some out with 90+% humidity soo my probable 300WHP was like 250 lol

so its been a couple months since i've posted in here. nothing really going on with winter coming in but just wanted to see how everyone is and if we got anyone new.

Rusty 12-12-2012 03:43 PM

Hi bud. Just waiting to get a few days off for the holidays. So that I can get my calipers powder coated by Mike and install my stainless brake lines. Also to repair my front spoiler where I hit a curb with it. :icon14: And to spend some time with new GF. :D

Greetings from Morgantown, WV. 2010 Roadster delivered first week of November. What a thrill to drive. She is tucked away looking a little dirty for the winter. I can't wait for first chance to spend some quality time detailing her up. Thinking about buying porter cable. She needs it.

I HATE WINTER!!!! Its been about 2 months since my girl was parked. sigh. Anyone have any mods planned for as soon as spring breaks? Im putting in a clutch/flywheel combo and powder coating the wheels, then over to R/T to get her tuned! Then I am starting to save for boost!

The ones in your mouth don't count my friend. :tiphat:

But even still, bigger balls = more weight. So how does being heavier = faster? :bowrofl:

ok onto some group related things. if any of you are like me and put your cars away for winter here's a little info to maybe ease the pain. some spring time related info on some other groups we can meet with.

for anyone around the Pittsburgh area who is interested in meets i have meeted with one group and also found another recently in the area. these are not Z specific meets but due to the fact that there arent many of us around i'm thinking we can mingle with others lol

one that i have gone to a few of their meets is Pittsburgh cars and coffee Pittsburgh Cars 'N' Coffee - Index page they have a wide range of cars from a couple hondas i saw off to the side up to lambos (aventador, murce, gallardo), lexus LFA, ferrari's and more. they usually meet Saturdays up in robinson by the mall. also they have multiple special events throughout the year.

i just stumbled upon Pittsburgh Car Scene recently when asked to be in the running for their January cover car on their FB site. their actual website is down for maintenance and upgrades at the moment. the guy who runs it and i were talking over the weekend about that and should be back up soon. regardless they do have a easy to find FB site that i would link but can't use FB at work :shakes head: i have not attended any of their meets yet due to it being winter and my car is away as well as most people in the area lol.

also whenever spring rolls around i will also be attending hopefully all 2013 flash light drag events in waynesburg PA. they do not have a schedule out yet but going on the past 2 years it is usually the last Sunday of the month may-august some times October weather pending.

another side note: i will be attending ZdayZX (ZdayZ 2013) may 16-19 down in North Carolina. there's a thread up on here about it and also the website ZDayZ 2013 at the moment i'm the only PA guy registered lol if you have any interest in going i do suggest you go and reserve a room/cabin ASAP space is very limited even though its 5 months away. i reserved my cabin the week of thanksgiving and they were running low on cabins.

if any one has questions or anything like that feel free to PM me or reply in here. i'm sure i'll have more info on local stuff as the year goes on as well.

Joepro 01-11-2013 11:07 AM

Really considering pulling the car out for the weekend, 60 degree temps! Someone stop me! haha.

Joepro 01-11-2013 11:17 AM

Hi everyone. so far from being on this site i haven't come across many people or threads for the western pa, eastern Ohio, and WV areas.

i myself am from right outside the city of Pittsburgh. so far in the past year I've maybe seen 3 other 370Z's but I'm sure there's more somewhere.

I'd like to find more people around this area with Z's(370 or 350). regardless if it's just to know more local people with the same interests in Z's or possibly setting up some meets around the area. i see many other groups on here doing the same for their areas so i figured I'd give it a shot for my area.

if you're from any of the surrounding areas please chime in, show support, give feedback, or just general discussion.

so i guess here is the OFFICIAL Western PA/Pittsburgh/OH/WV thread

:driving:

Just stumbled on your post. I'm from Greensburg. We spend winters in Marco Island, FL but will be back to PA in April. Please advise of any Z gatherings in our area.

Just keep an eye on this thread once spring rolls around. I post anytime I am attending something and whenever I hear of anything even if I am unable to attend.

I also post about gatherings from a few local groups as well whenever they have events.

Welcome to the group and hopefully we can run into each other at a event soon.

Do you plan on doing any of the PA SCCA events? I dunno about joining if we don't really, but figured might be interesting to look into..
