Anyone got any ideas for a pre meet for the island guys? Any suggestions at all?



Also, anyone else notice how much trash V8 drivers talk when they get beat by a Z? I was watching YouTube vids of Z's racing various vehicles and there's a lot of excuses thrown around. Not saying the Z's the fastest but especially them mustang guys sure talk some sh*t!

A lot of people talk a lot of shiet. I'd ignore it unless it gets really uncalled for. I show up to meets and there's these teenage-looking kids with their e92's, with one of them saying "z's are weak sauce." I didn't bother cause I know they are the type to baby their cars and just do a few pulls here and there. This car of ours isn't meant for straight line pulls to begin with. I can't touch most of my friends' rides cause they're boosted but I'll take most of them on a turn

This is gonna be huge. We really need to pick a spot so we can all roll together. Maybe it would help if we knew what town everyone was coming from. I'm in East Meadow.

I'll be coming from Miller Place with up to 3 extras, an Rx8, a Lancer Rally and a Speed3

So are we meeting someone. I'm still not 100% sure I'm coming. Its hard to get off work.

Since everyone is pretty much scattered. How about we all just set up a rally point closer to the main meet. There's a shopping center on Montauk Highway that's pretty close to the site and easily accessible to the Southern State Parkway. Let's all plan get our groups from across the island to this spot by 11:15 and roll out to the main meet together. Otherwise, its gonna be tough getting our cars parked together.

MEET UP POINT IS 130-134 street by conduit. i made a map so it will be easy for everyone to understand. we meet up at 12 and roll out at 1 .

second meet up point is Southern state police thing after the park . you know what im talking about. think about it .

this cruise means alot to me , it really does. this is what i live for now. so dont be that guy ******* things up . island import day is a huge event . large upper east coast meet . the idea is not to take the park , the idea is to make it there. lets do it."



part of this meet is a memorial for Bishnu, who that lost his life last year in a car accident. he had the clean white S14 that was in the PetrolWerks meet last year for those who went to it. there's a steel cross made of exhaust piping and flowers at the site of the accident on the southern state parkway.

as for the meet points, i will be showing up at the southern state exit 13 pit stop on the side of the highway. you can't miss it. i'm from queens so it'll be more convenient for me, as i will be showing up with others including PetrolWerk guys. since the first meeting point will be rolling out at 1pm, i expect them to be showing up around 1:20-1:30 at the southern state site

So how we doin this then? Are we cruisin with this guy or cruisin our selves at that rally point previously posted? I'm at that shopping center now cuz its by work and the walbaums is closed so we'd most likely have room to meet if we happen to have a large turnout. It's the first big shopping center coming of souther state on montauk hwy west. I'll go with the crowd where ever, count me for +1 extra so far. Maybe 2 more cars

I'm still down for meeting up at the rally point I posted since it doesn't really make sense to drive all the way out to Manhattan just to drive back. It's easy to get to for pretty much everyone also.

It looks like it says they plan on leaving there around 1:00. Isn't the meet at 12:00? They probably won't get there until after 2:00 if that's the case. That's kind of why thought 11:15 would be a good time to allow any stragglers to catch up. What time are the guys from the Queens area meeting and heading out and who's still in for meeting at the rally point I posted? I guess we could also push the time up to around 12:00 or 1:00 if you guys don't want to get there too early. Not saying it's gonna be over 1400 cars, but that's the total 'like's on FB. It's gonna be big, especially with the nice weather and parking is gonna get nuts.

I think its only gonna be me and bluz34 coming out from queens. But we can meet at your location. What time though? I don't mind getting there early and getting parking. But what lot is the meet gonna be in do you know?

It's in the same shopping center as a Quiznos. It's the first major shopping center on the left when your heading west on montauk highway after gettin off the souther state or the last major lot on the right before you hit the souther state heading montauk highway east. I haven't had time to grab and address for it
