A 370Z will ape a standard Mustang GT. But will get destroyed by a new 5.0GT - stock for stock.

If you do full bolt-ons + tune to the 370Z, you'll be neck-and-neck with a stock 5.0. But then again, if it's a modded 5.0, a Z will get smoked again. Those cars run high-11s modded, we run in the middle-12s modded. About 5-6MPH difference in trap speeds too.

Who cares, Z looks a million times better and handles better. Also the Mustang is a chicks car. I see nothing but older women driving new 5.0's holding their cigarette out the window. A car is more than a straight line. American cars just pack in retarded amounts of horsepower into anything they make. I mean 650bhp on a GT500, that's crazy.

I ran a 5.0 and just barely stayed ahead of him and I'm completely bolted and tuned. I didn't get the best jump but neither did he. Ide say a 5.0 runs about even with the upgraded Z. A stock Z and a stock 5.0 were compared by Bridgestone or Goodyear and they're not bias to either and the stand was only a half second faster.

Thats my basis. Kill the GT's all day long no problems but watch them 5's

I run up & down Woodhaven/Crossbay/Howard Beach area all the time.. Spotted a Blue 370 not too long ago (might have been NickD) .. spoke to the guy for a minute while stuck in traffic. Havent seen you yet..
