Midnight Circuit - Eastern Long Island
 

Did one of these a while back with the Z06 guys, and it was pretty awesome.

Just want to gauge some interest for a midnight run w/ dinner/drinks at appleebees after.

This would be open to all cars (will be posted on a few other forums). Meeting spot would be at Airport Plaza (Dave & Busters), and would end back at Applebees (same shopping center as D&B)

Meet Time: 7:00pm
Total Trip time: 1 - 1.5 hours
Date: June 18th

Meeting Spot/Ending Spot:
261 Airport Plaza Boulevard
Farmingdale, NY 11735

Ride would go throught MeadBrook/Robert Moses/Ocean Parkway

Wanna have a go tonight or tomorrow night @ 10 or 11PM (or at exactly midnight)? I have to go overseas this summer and won't be able to enjoy the car for a while (also want to burn the fuel so I can fill it up with fresher gas before I go).

i could do tomorrow night, however i doubt we will be able to get ppl together on such short notice.

Whoever shows, goes. I just want to drive, man.

lol, I do this circuit at least once a week. It's pretty much my daily commute.

Also, that's the Wantagh Parkway, not the Meadowbrook. Just keep an eye out once you reach Jones Beach. State troopers love hinding and catching guys as the speed limit drops from 55mph to 35mph. They also like to camp where the Sag & Southern State meet.

where do you work?!

Right now, Bohemia, but our office use to be in Hauppauge & Bayshore before that. I live in East Meadow so I take Ocean sometimes to avoid the traffic on the Southern State. Also, a lot nicer drive especially in the warm weather. I love driving over the causeway.

weather is supposed to be sh1tty this weekend, so how does the 18th sound for everyone?

I ment friday for me... Post up ASAP if something is going on 2nite. Would love to chill and drive instead of just sitting in the DandB parking lot on 110 watching the ricers act stupid.

I can be at DandB as well, is that where you guys wanna meet???????????????????? Just checked the weather, there is a small chance of rain but nothing that would stop me from going out. Soooooooo DandB what time and where in the Parking lot? I'm thinking the back where the kids do burnouts and dougnuts LOL so we dont have to drive around looking for each other.

Haha yeah that was major fail on my part. I was coming from the upper west side and completely got owned by traffic on the Henry Hudson and West Side highway; got there a little after 1:30ish, but it was nice to at least drive out there. I'll be heading down to the Captree meet with toxik on Sunday, I'll catch you there

LOL. No one is going to show hahahaha.... I might be able to go sat night, not sure since I dont know when I'm working on sunday. Not sure what the weather is going to be like on friday night, but I could be down for a 2nd attempt on friday. Just throwing it out there.
