It's a $10,000 fine to remove your cats. Test pipes are for "offroad" use only. HFCs provide almost the same performance (as noted above 1-3hp less) and then you don't have to worry about issues with cops or the feds.

This for the most part. Cops dont need to crawl under to check. They have some meter they put up to your exhaust and could tell that way.

If you know a shop and dont throw a CEL they would pass you no issues though.

Its loud. A friend of mine with a 500+WHP SRT-4 commented on how loud it was LOL... But you can live with it. The Z is my nice weather toy so I dont care how loud it is.
