Trading Hatches

Hey guys,

I apologize for reposting this from the Marketplace section, but I figure not everybody looks in there. I have only gotten 1 inquiry so far about trading hatches. I have a Mag Black sport package Z, so it comes with the sport spoiler. I would like to trade with somebody that has no spoiler as I plan on ordering a different wing and do not want to plug the uncovered holes.

This is an excellent deal as it is a pure trade, no cash included. Give me a shout if youre interested. The swap takes about 2 hours.

Just as something to keep in mind - once you swap hatches, they will both then reflect VIN numbers from a different car. There is a VIN sticker on pretty much every panel of the car.

is it illegal if you switch the VIN numbers to the appropriate cars?

Unless you are planning on selling the car at an auction 50 years from now, I doubt this would really be an issue.

I'm not sure on the legality of it, but I doubt the stickers could be taken off and/ or reused. Wouldn't be very good security if they could you know

Definitely a good point, but as mentioned its more relevant if I plan on getting rid of the car. I happen not to be one of those drivers who cycles through cars often so Im not terribly worried about it.

Don't forget about the guy on the other side of the trade.

Though, to be honest, I highly doubt anyone will ever even notice the different VINs.
