All we could come up with was it had just rained and there was a small patch of leaves back where it thought i started sliding, with 2 spaces missing. i was just happy i didnt hit the other guy. The Z can be replaced if necessary, New Car Replacement Policy but its better than damaging another car.

drift practice really helps with learning car control. it's saved my car a few times from being done for since i got it in feb. this year.
i keep vdc off unless it's raining. good luck with the car repair

i have drifted here and there and am fairly decent at it, i can do a few other simple tricks as well but nothing crazy. I managed to counter the first loss but unfortunately i only had 1 lane to do it in since there was a car next to me. i had to avoid that as well. had i had both lanes i may have been able to save it but that we'll never know. i should hear from my insurance company today hopefully.

btw thanks for all the support guys, i do appreciate it

In a RWD car VDC on or off would make no difference once the rear steps out. Wet leaves are dangerous not just because they're wet, but also because they're oily once water mixes in with them.

Once the rear steps out physics finishes the job. A pile of wet leaves doesn't provide more traction than say...ice. Especially on a slight bend.

Fun meet yesterday. Good turnout.

It's getting chilly out, though. Ugh :(
