I gotta tell you, I've always been a German/Japanese Import snob. I love the 335 but more shockingly enough, I have a lot of cognitive dissonance about the 5.0. As much as I might like the idea of the 5.0 V8 performance and sound I could never bring myself to be driving a Mustang lol.

I have a lot of respect for the 335's and would love to own one. But after all the problems I've had with BMW's, I can't see having another one longer than the 4 year warranty period. I can't even imagine a modded one. But all of that is a moot point once you can afford to pay for the maintenance. M3 all the way

True. Not to start a whole debate again about problems with the turbo motors in the 1 and the 3 series but the guy Arnold knew with the 08 335I told us his turbos were shot and he was hoping to have them replaced under warranty. He was modded but nothing out of the norm I'm pretty sure.

Nah, I get to drive wifey's car any time I want - no point in owning another one. Beside, I still think the 370Z is a better car in many aspects - it's just less practical.

yea i agree. If i had to choose one as a car to drive every day it'd be 370z. But once you factor in the added practicality of the 335, and the slightly worse (stock) performance, its a close call. If practicality isn't an isssue i'd say 370z all the way, but as a 2nd car, the 335 was a good choice for me and my stable of vehicles.

if you had a quote hall of fame on the the370z.com, i'd wanna nominate this one lol

That sculpture is awesome haha! that is a classy way to incorporate your love of cars into the wedding. I've seen some pretty interesting ways that people have tried to do it, but that's definitely the best :tup:

i'm picking up a set of mint powdercoated gunmetal stock 19" rays with new tires. Them being powdercoated doesn't really help me for trading in, but i am paying a premium for them since they are powdercoated (but they are the only set I could find) If anyone is interested in swapping for their stock rays+cash send me a pm, or if you have my number text me. i'll bring them to the meet, hopefully it doesn't rain.
