D@yum - A 19 year old pizza delivery guy can afford a "Z"? And he's delivering pizza in it? Just shoot me.

Florida_GATOR 11-11-2009 05:49 PM

The driver, who works for Junior’s Pizza in Boonton, had left the sports car running in a fire lane in front of the Smith Road hotel, police said.
hmmm.... brand new 2009 370Z idling in front of a hotel unlocked... Heck even I am tempted to take it for a spin! :icon17:

This happened many times before with Dominos Pizza I Managed during HS. Basically people would take delivery drivers car (if it's a good car) for a spin. Cops usually (every case) found the car next day at a street corner or w/e.

Don't you have to leave key fob inside the car for someone to be able to drive away with the car? or is it only necessary for start up?

If the cars left running, and the fob is with owner the car can be driven by someone else till it's turned off, at that point they no longer can start it.

I hope they find his z.
Damn what a dumbass though...
You never leave a car running.
Funny how I read about this today, I saw this dude leaving his 7 series running @ 7-11, I was very tempted to take it for a ride LOL!

NYBladeZ 11-20-2009 10:28 AM

moron, how hard is it to turn off the car and press a button to turn it back on in a few minutes. Sure we don't want to make a routine of habitually turn the car off and on quickly but beats letting someone else have the pleasure of doing so.

speedaudio64 11-29-2009 07:22 PM

Wow that stinks

SmoothZ 11-29-2009 07:23 PM

Maybe he couldn't afford the payments and wanted it stolen?

backfirex 11-29-2009 08:06 PM
