Preferred Oil For a Twin Turbo Nismo

Regularly changed oil is the best oil for your Z.

In all seriousness, any name brand oil will be fine. People will tell you their favorite oil for whatever reason, but you’ll be fine with whatever is on sale at your auto parts store. I like Mobil 1, and Redline if I feel like spending a little more $.

Agreed. Go for something reliable and easily obtainable like Mobil 1, and just make sure to change it every 3-4k miles, while checking that it's always between middle and full on the dipstick. If you got that covered, you're good.

thanks! i will go with mobil 1. i'm also looking into the weight and synthetic or not......

DONT go with anything other than an full-synthetic oil ! Anything ester based is supposed to be good for our engines
e.g. Redline, Amsoil. Realistically any quality full-synthetic should be adequate if changed frequently enough. I run Havoline PRO-DS since its readily available and comes in 6QT boxes at my local Wolly world. Helps since our sumps capacity is a little over 5qts.

As for viscosity, you may want to do a bit more research on your turbo brand and see if you can use a 40 weight.

I would think REDLINE or AMsoil Signature 5W30 would be Adequate.

You don't want anything high Mineral based as it may "coke" up from turbo heat.
