I'm gonna guess the reserve is closer to six figures based on what I've seen on markups and what a couple guys on YouTube are disclosing.

I know everyone (including myself) are like MSRP.....or I walk. But for a Proto Spec where they are limited and COULD (not going to say WILL) become a collector's item - would any here would have paid $70k for the car considering the current state of ADMs, shortages and just general 'wackness of dealers'?

SeeThruHead 10-14-2022 09:39 AM

I've already seen two Proto Z ruined on youtube. TJ Hunt just cut his up.

But no, it's not worth that amount of money even if there are only 238 of the car left unmolested. IMO

everything will cool off in about 6 months when the recession hits, especially the car market, both new and used. all these vampire stealers marking up used cars thousands above the original new car msrp will be burned....

Meh... a +$50,000 car going for $20,000 over MSRP is not that crazy in today’s market.

I wouldn’t pay it, but I don’t think it’s that bad of a deal. And yes, I know it’s “used”.

“WHEN” the recession hits? :icon18:

I agree with you otherwise... Personally, I think these manufactures should take a good hard look at their “dealerships”. They are not needed anymore...

I haven’t stepped foot in a stealership in over 30 years. Next to Porn, buying a car is the internet’s second best function.
