:excited: Z Launch Control on the street and more. Go to 4:40 time stamp for Launch Control in action.

Warning: Bonzo is going to hate everything about this video. :icon14: Just sayin' |

Unless I'm mistaken, this is the first time the New Z's Launch Control has been filmed in action. |

The launch though, the 9AT option doesn't seem to be a bad deal. |

Video aside, I meant that Bonzo seems to feel the need to explain in detail exactly why he hates the new Z about every other day. I mean, hey Bonzo, we get it, you don't like it. :icon14: |

When the new Tundra came out, many like myself were "disappointed" in it. Now I want to buy one! |

That rear end is totally nondescript....the aggressive haunch look is gone....just very bland.... if it weren't Nissan I wouldn't even be giving it a look....the front is more striking, but not really in a good way...that geometric fold on the bumper is what stands out to me.... and.... it's not so good and doesn't match the gentle sleek curves of the rest of it. The headlights are blah.... Sleeker perhaps - and I generally like sleek - but far less aggressive. Chances are if you take a 370 and a Z on the street (keeping in mind the average person has no idea what they're looking at) in brand new condition, it's the 370z that's going to get the "wows" and comments - even though the design is 10 years old. I hear it every week here. Of course anyone in the know will want to see the new star! In the end, it really is very similar so I'm sure over time it will grow on me....and I'm interested in the bump in HP, but overall it's not my thing. I thought I'd be liking it more and more, but I'm going the other way right now. I'm not one for aftermarket over-the-top panels....but I don't know anyone who looks at the stock 370z and says: this is nice, if only it weren't so aggressive! |

Looking back through this thread now, I realize I might like the matching roof MUCH more on the new Z. Hope it comes in other colors beyond the 3 mentioned. |

Gray wheels n paint - that is just plain boring.

I'm fairly certain that's the ONLY color option Nissan will offer for the new Z. :icon14: |

In a non-snarky way, if I can get more garage space, I'm hoping not too many people want this car lol. In-person I was pretty set thinking "if I could I would". It's not the F40 or 458 or etc etc dream car, and in my mind my 370 is a forever keep sentimentally, but I don't think I would've said no if by ridiculous miracle the Nissan rep offered me a direct trade right there on the spot. |

If you find that Nissan sales rep, please pass along his/her contact info to me. I'll be sure to do the same. |
My local dealer already has pre-orders for this car, and probably wont see them until late 2022. At least that's what they told me.

That's one hell of a wheel well gap.

Personally, I think this is going to be a good looking car in the flesh. Question for me is, how’s it gonna drive? |

Official preview of the 18 inch sport wheels

With the crazy prices of used cars - there is a part of me tempted to sell my car to CarMax (was offered $34k with 40k miles on it - that is $1k more than I purchased it back in 2018 with only 4500 miles on the odo); and then buy a cash car and wait for the new Z to come out. Figured that would be a large amount to put down and have something new.
My only concern is the weight of all the added nannies and the intrusive nannies as well. Anyway - the more I see this car - the more I am looking forward to it - as well as seeing if the Nismo will be even better. |

I've considered the same move... I can basically get out of my 15 for around 2k$ more than I purchased it for in early 17. Crazy! |

This is an ugly car. First gen z32 was ugly too, but this takes it to a new level.

Absurd need for the factory to dictate black roof on so many colors. Black wheels are useless and so 2009.
I will test it but from certain angles its not well proportioned. The red interior is nice and the base interior will be cloth. I had that with my 2010. Cloth all the way. Fk leather and the required upkeep/maintenance. Will not have black wheels or a black roof if purchased. Full body color and silver wheels. The only question is how good are the base brakes or even the 'upgraded' trim's brakes. My 2010 had 'sport' brakes and they were weak. NO excuse for that. |

As I've said before, I'm in 100% total agreement with you about "having" to have a black roof (and I basically hate black wheels). But now seeing this picture, I think that not only does the black roof not look good on the yellow car, but, the silver katana sword makes it look even worse. The only way a black roof works (sometimes it does, like on the new C8 Vette convertible) is for it to be all one solid black top with tinted side windows. So if I had to get a black roof, not only would I be tinting all the windows, but I would be wrapping (or painting) that silver katana sword in gloss black to make it disappear. Wow... I think that other guy was right... We get it, you don't like the black roof.
Here's a suggestion: how about you two just not buy the new Z? And furthermore, I suggest you start a different thread under the title "Why I hate the new Z, and Why you should too!". You guys sound worse than a bunch of old ninnies playing canasta that constantly nit-pick about their husbands. I really hope you "black roofers" don't buy one of these new Z's. (Especially for your family's sake). Enjoy |

I'm not even a hater of the black roof. Some colors look better than others, of course. Ridiculous that it isn't optional tho  |
