As for the infotainment system, the Z's console is crying out for a big vertical touchscreen. http://www.the370z.com/attachment.ph...1&d=1599772768 |

Can't believe I'm saying this - but can't wait for Monday so we will be that much closer to finding out about the new Z.

Anyone have thoughts on the two tone design from the prototype? It doesn’t look bad on the Sentra, but probably on the disappointment list for me if it continues to the production model.

Now I am thinking about cost of replacement....it’s got GTR tax written all over it. |

Some new renders from the lastest teaser images. Not 100% accurate but should be close to the actual proto model.
It looks like there is a noticeable hood "bulge", if you will, down the center of the hood. Similar to the older Z cars. |

I agree. Also reminds me of the 07/08 350z. |

still reserving judgement on the aesthetic until we see production, and for all we know there's a disappointing proportion of carryover from the Z34, but that manual mansmission just says so much these days. Sure enough, we can get Miatas, Camaro's and Mustang's, and 86's and Porsche's as well as some M's with manuals, but it seems like Nissan's marketing team gave clear attention that they listened to this demand.
Adds high hopes they give zero craps about magazine stat comparisons, and just simply went for a car people want. |

I'm not feeling the chunky look of the front end. Looks more like one of Detroit's muscle cars than a Z, especially if Nissan is trying to recall the look of the original Z cars. |
This thread has reached page 370 - so that's what Nissan were waiting for!

In fact, looking at the teaser video/images you can see there is more curvature and flowing body lines than it seems. I also think that the bigger grille it appears to have will make it look more aggressive. If you look at the current gen 370z (mine pictured below) the front grille looks aggressive, but open it up more and I think it'll look a lot meaner. Of all the unofficial renders I have seen I think that this one will closely resemble the front end of the proto.

What are the issues/reliability concerns with the VR30DDTT?

by the way: So will there be a new URL / 400z forums? I've enjoyed the crowd here so that's why I ask.

New teaser front view of the car..
Some interesting head light design. It looks like 3 different "bulbs". The longer oval ones, I assume, are the lowbeams, the other 2 must be turn signal and high beams? I would hope they'd made the DRL be switch on/off for turn signal like modern cars but who knows. |

Not long now! I'm looking forward to the Z Proto Preview...
Following the recent teasers for the event, I went to a Z car meet, shared my speculations and hopes for the next Z and asked some other enthusiasts what they were hoping for... https://youtu.be/zmhqkaiJd0k |
