Wierd Vibration while driving.

Im getting a vibration while driving. Mind you im in Germany so please dont kill me about speeds i describe.

0-50mph nothing

60mph slight vibration in wheel

60-> 80mph vibration increases and is felt though pedals.

80->160mph vibration changes from constant to interval. What i mean is its felt though pedals and wheel as nothing..nothing..nothing....vibration..vibration. .vibration..vibration....nothing nothing nothing

Vibration cycle? from 80->160 does not change with speed its a steady pattern of vibration then nothing then vibration again.

I do not hear any wheel bearing noise, i have no obviously leaking bearings that i can see when i just looked.

I have just rebalanced tires and got an alignment and its still there.

Warped brake rotor?
Something out of balance in the engine, clutch, trans, driveshaft, or rearend?

I would inspect that the u joints on the drive shaft and side shafts on rear end are good.

At those speeds all it takes is something to be off a little to create a vibration.

I honestly would not be pushing those speed with this issue.

During driving or braking? If when driving, could be slightly uneven tire wear or maybe even slight imperfections in the road itself you are feeling.

How much vibration -- similar to the feel of warped rotors on braking?

How old are your tires? I always get vibration issues when the tread on my rear tires gets thin.

Tires are good, still 70% life to them and the rotors are new.

I appreciate the advice not to push it and i wont, i slowly took the speed up to see if it went away or not and then ended up cruising at 60 the rest of the way home.

When you say side shafts you mean half shafts out of the diff?

Ill take a look at the U joints as soon as i can get the car up tomorrow in the air.

Well I had almost the same issue.. after I changed the brakepads and made bleeding for the rotors.. the vibration has gone.. also check ur wheels maybe balance is needed..
