Bad MAF sensor(s)

I installed the stillen cai a couple weeks ago and the upper pipes were slightly bent. Customer service was great btw and sent me new pipes!

Swapped all the pipes out today, made sure not to touch the MAF sensors upon removal and tightened everything back up. Started it up afterwards and it was having a hard time keeping idle and starting. Figured it was something to do with the MAF sensors but made sure everything was tight again... Got it running but it would hold idle at or slightly above 1k and wouldnt go pase 2500rpm while driving. Just had to get it right down the road to advanced auto parts to pull some codes.

Initial code was P0102 which is bad MAF sensor A. Bought some MAF cleaner and gave them both a spray and dried them then tried to start it up with no luck.

After cleaning the codes were :
P0102
P010B Which was something to do with the range of MAF B...
and P006A which was low manifold pressure.

Thankfully they were able to get one MAF sensor from their warehouse by tomorrow morning... It would take until monday for the second to arrive but I need to drive tomorrow. Wondering if there is more going on or is it just one or two bad MAF sensors?

I can only suggest you double check you don't have a vacuum leak

I'll be sure to do that tomorrow... Wouldn't that be odd since the car was running fine yesterday?

Got a new MAF sensor today, swapped it into both and swapped it back and forth a couple times.... Pulled codes inbetween and the only code it is throwing it low circuit voltage on MAF A.

Thinking now I have a wiring/electrical issue since the sensors aren't bad ;( going to have to get the car towed 51 miles or so to a nissan dealership. Thinking about taking a volt meter up to check the wiring, supposed to be showing 5 volts for each from the harness correct?

Taking any other suggestions as well lol need to get this puppy back on the road.

the bend in the pipes could be giving you weird readings. the sensors are calibrated to read voltage in a very specific location and orientation.

swap back stock airboxes --if problem goes away, that's the answer, and you'll need a tune to re-calibrate. if remains, then bad connectors/wiring.

Did you ever get this fixed?
having same issue, same code, and power loss.

It turns out I didn't actually have a problem. After already having two dented top pipes from Stillen the new set they sent out to me (and others I'm assuming) also had a fault. One of the pipes had the holes for the MAF sensor drilled backwards and I must not have noticed when I installed them. I believe the passenger side pipe was the culprit but stillen once again sent new pipes which resolved the problem.

Hope you find the solution to your issue

Really? That kind of shakes my confidence in Stillen. It sounds like their customer service is great, but being shipped defective products multiple times like that rubs me the wrong way.

Hopefully this was some freak occurrence and not a decline in quality control.

Stillen is on my Team Awesome list. Bad list to be on. Team Awesome are the worst people, venders, trade, etc.

STILLEN TEAM AWESOME !!!!!!

They would not sell me a replacement pulley for there kit with out signing a waver. They would only accept money order for the trans action. Second time I needed a replacement bolt for SC bracket. Same thing; made me sign waver and would not take credit, check, paypal, only money order.

That burnt up a weeks worth of time waiting to just get items shipped. I dislike them very much!

I had that exact same issue.
Check engine light came on
Went in to check the code and it was P010B
Thought it could be my filters/sensor being dirty
Took everything out saw it was all clean and perfect. Checked on my battery and noticed the negative was loosened and not tightened the right way. Disconnected it checked the positive waited 15 min connected and put everything back together. Turned the car on and bam it a been off since. My problem turned out to be small.
