Extended warranty and convertible top
 

Folks, as many are probably aware the convertible top has been far from perfect with different issues on both outside cloth and inside liner fabric. I was looking at getting the Nissan extended warranty (probably from Santa Rosa) but then noticed that it doesn't appear to cover the convertible top.

It expressly excludes the top fabric and liner (Section 8.2).

What has been the experience of others and any thoughts to share? My top is starting to exhibit similar issues as others and I was thinking of buying the extended warranty for peace of mind, but now starting to wonder.

Are there other good options to the Nissan extended warranty?
