2012 - 370z Touring - right main headlight flickers, then permanently off

So I call Nissan, to see if its covered by the basic 3year/36, and he said yes.
I'm wondering if the dealership will simply replace it, after I show them it doesn't work anymore..... anyone think this will go smooth, or not smooth?

It's the bright OEM HID lights, Autozone has em for like $115.....

If you have NOT replaced the HID with something else? You should be fine

Take it into the dealership!
It might be the ballast as well

Just want to chime in as this can be of use to anyone...

im having the same problem and it is NOT THE BULB. I waited at the dealership for an hour for them to replace bulb and when they did it was a no go. I told them it was the ballast but they said they wanted to start with the bulb just incase. But if the headlight flickers and then goes off its the ballast for sure

BULBS and BALLASTS are covered under the 3yr/36k

until you can get a new ballast put in try flicking your lights on and off very quickly 10 times and the headlight should stay on. mine works every time! hope this helps everyone. also if one bulb goes out change both bulbs because you will have different colors. right now my right one looks like 6K and the left one looks like 4.5k... however this could be because of the bad ballast ill let you guys know

Damn didn't know this. I just changed my driver side bulb because it would flicker and then shut off. If these bulbs turn off soon then I'll take it in under the extended warranty.

well guys got a new bulb and ballast installed for FREE lol they match now also they didnt have to change the other one.. probably because my car is only a year old. Anyways be sure not to pay for it and bring it up like i did and it will be free

I guess I'll have to find out how much it costs when not under warranty..........
