This is about the same thing I've determined. Mine threw the same code repeatedly last winter. Warm weather came and no code since. I expect to see it come back with cold air. What bites is the increase in idle speed and decrease in gas mileage while the light is on.

Mine is a 2010 40th... I hope it's nothing

Did anyone find out officially what this issue is though? I turned the cel off last week but after about 500km it came back on again. That being said, there was a drop in temp when they came on but cant be sure.

Wanted to know if anyone found out or if Nissa officially had an answer to this problem?

Thanks

No answers. Mine never came back after I reset everything and cleared the codes.

I just shut off the P0300 code with Uprev so now it never comes on.

Same issue, in cold weather with a cold start
Started as a p0305; cleared it then it came back as p0300 after about 2k miles

Downtown LA Nissan never figured out what was wrong with my car, not even the specialist that Corporate Nissan sent. They replaced ignition coils, short block and fuel injectors. They had my car for over a month total. If you guys keeps having this problem, just have Nissan buy it back. They bought my 40th back despite me buying it used but still under factory warranty and now I'm rolling in a 2013 Nismo :ughdance:

So there doesn't seem to be any fix to this? I just replaced my sprocket and a solinoid to fix p0011. p0300 was still going off, replaced all 6 coils and spark plugs and the code still comes up. Otherwise the car runs normal. If I get it tuned could I get rid of problem?

I never did find the problem causing the p0300 code when I had the 2009 Z. I have 16k on my 2012 Z and it hasn't popped any codes yet....fingers crossed.
Maybe Nissan changed something that fixed the issue between 2009 and the 2012 model ???

I'm having the same issue. Keep having a misfire code once a week with low temps. I am not sure what's causing the issue but I'm at 42k miles and I was wondering if replacing the ignition coils will help?

I too am having this issue on 1st startup

Service reps simply guess. His words alone should tell you the small amount of tech knowledge that he has.

These issues are very similar to older maxima problems which equated to harness coil signal wire issues. Having misfire codes when the engine runs fine does not mean that you need six new coils. Simply said if any car needs six new coils it probably wouldn't start or go very far period. Maybe some of these dealers are so cash strapped that they fabricate any warranty work possible even though they are paid less for it. Your car misfires so they replace the block...crazy.
