Tapping noise in dash with air recirculation on?

It is a LOUD tapping noise, only goes away if I turn OFF recirculation... It almost sounds rhythmic. WTF, anyone know what the hell is causing this?

Do you have a cabin filter? If so, the door that opens and closes outside ventilation is getting caught by it. I used the wrong cabin filter one time and it made the same exact noise. You just have to remove the glove box and the cabin filter to see why it is getting caught. It might just need a quick adjustment to fix it. Very easy, go look for DIY cabin filter in the DIY section

Yeah I will look into that, I did put a filter in about a month ago... Not sure why its just now starting, but that sounds like a good possibility.
