After a few days of driving my idle has settled down to under 700 now (650 I presume based on previous responses). No more bogging down randomly while sitting at lights either.

So, you were right digitonium! Does not appear you have to continue holding the pedal once the MIL light stops flashing.

Good AM guys! i hope everyone is ok. Well i want to clean the throttles of my Z tomorrow. And i want to make sure that im going to do this right lol. Someone says that i cant move the butterflies and other move the them to clean it. Also some of you disconnect the throttles and other leave it connected and to finish this some people do the relearn process while others dont do it... im so confused that i dont know what day is today and i forgot my age looooooooooooool!:bowrofl: please if someone can throw me some light im going to appreciated.

I disconnected the TBs and moved the butterflies on three different Z's in one day a couple years ago without issue. Just make sure you do the pedal position reset. See posts 41-43 in this thread for clarification.

Thanks a lot for the info MR Jar!!! im going to check it out and another question... if i dont disconnect the TB's i have to do the the relearn process?

Possibly not, but the reset is so easy to do, I would do it anyway.

I did just to be safe. TBs are expensive.

Hahaha sorry to say this but im a bit confussed with the relearning process loooool! Car off 10 sec , ignition on 2 sec then repeat this once and thats it? And to do the ignition off i asume that the car have to be with the ignition on right.... Sorry for all the questions... Im just want to make sure that made everything right! Thanks again!
