Just buy it and keep it for later, its really worth it, I payed a;lmost double for 5Qts last time, close to 65. I just did my oil change at 11,000, and its at 12,00 now, but im gonna just go out and buy it and keep it in my garage for my next oil change.

I saw they have this as well as the Penzoil Ultra Premium for $6 a quart... Which one is better, or more recommended for our engines?

The price of that should tell you something about the quality of those parts.

I thought royal purple wasn't good for our motors

Mobil 1 ftw!!!

I'm using Penzoil Platinum and a PureOne filter. I've read several UOA's from Bobistheoilguy forum and this oil was highly regarded and tested well. To be honest I don't think it really matters as long as you change your oil regulary and use a good quality oil.

NOOOOO I was just about to kiss the ground you walk on since I just somehow spent $55 on some oil/filter to do my car, but we don't have a pepboys here :(

nmjaxx9 02-10-2012 10:23 AM

Yeah I was using mobil 1 but recently just switched to RP, and this coupon helped me out.

Bingo! I've used this same setup on another car and gone as far as 10,000 miles on an oil change. Sent the oil off for analysis, and Blackstone labs report showed it STILL had life in it. Best bang for the buck by far and an excellent oil.

Nothing wrong with RP as an oil, but you're over paying for the purple food coloring. Marketing at it's finest right there LOL.
