my 2010 original battery is still working well. not a dd, but I hook it up to the battery tender once a month to top the battery off.

I added distilled water at need... battery on current Z lasted ~40K miles then just crapped out. Replaced with non-maintenance battery.

On my first one, I crashed it with the original battery still going strong (at least as far as I can recall) at about 55K.

My battery went last month while parked. Tried recharging but wouldn't hold. Got it replaced under warranty. Wife's Maxima battery lasted maybe twice as long, but she was driving it. I believe both cars use the same battery.

FL weather is murder on batteries. Heat, humidity and corrosion I guess?

I was amazed either of my Z's batteries held as long as they did.

In general, I've never had a battery last more than 3 years while living in FL.

I'm coming up on 5 years with OEM battery next month. It's now starting to seem weaker than normal. When starting the car the voltage gauge is usually somewhere around 15 making me think it's not holding a charge as good. Will likely buy a new battery soon. Better safe than sorry.

My car is 2010 and the original battery died this morning. I knew Nissans are not reliable, but my car wouldn't even start! Gonna trade it in for a Yaris and never look back!

Some Optimas have relatively low CCA, depends which colour it is. I want to say Yellow tops are higher CCA but don't quote me on that.

In any case Optimas aren't what they used to be. They completely hanged their production when they were bought out some years ago now - and I don't mean changed it for the better.

2010. Original battery gave way during this winter storage. Upon taking it out, it was bulged and frozen internally.

Replaced with an Exide AGM 24F battery. Tiny bit larger than the group 35, but has higher CCA and fits perfectly in the tray.

Paid $150.

My OEM died last week...but I am pretty sure I killed it myself by running it empty over the christmas holidays... it got significantly weaker after that and stopped holding a charge past 2 days.

Picked up and installed a walmart Maxx yesterday with a 5 year warranty.

Nice. Mine is the one that came in my car that I bought in October 2009. I just bought a new one that was on sale in Costco for $79. The old one still seems ok and Volts/Amps still look good on a meter. Just being proactive. I don't drive it in winter and it is on a trickle charger from Thanksgiving to March.

Just replaced the battery in my 2010 Roadster with an Interstate Battery from Costco. Price was $73.99 plus tax.
640 CCA. (800 Cranking amps)
I believe the warranty is 48 months.
Quite the deal I think.
And thanks to whoever posted the instructions on how to remove the battery (unfortunately I cannot find the post now)
Not sure if a novice like me could have figured that out on my own.
