Passenger Window will Not Go Down!~

Somebody please give me some advice. My drivers Side swtich and passenger switch will not lower the passenger window although drivers side window and switch work just fine. When you open the passenger door the window does lower then raise into the crease. Could it be a fuse? If so Which One.

First off all the fuses are listed, just pull the door off on the drivers side foot well area and read the lables. If all else fails bring it back to the dealer for free.

Start the the car hold down on both switches for 15sec and then hold up for 15sec. This will reset the switch and should do the trick. If not take it to the dealer. I had to have both of my motors in the door replaced 3 days after I got my car. :tiphat:

Actually you only need to hold the switch down for 4 seconds.:tiphat:

You should only have to do this procedure if the Auto function stops working. Even if the Auto function stops working you should still be able to raise and lower the window using either the drivers controls or passengers. He is saying that the window will not go down with any controls.

come on jared ive done this on your car a million times. if it isnt working at all then yes you need to hold down the switch for i think 15 seconds. then hold it up for another 15 seconds. do one at a time go down first hold it then up then up and hold it. if the auto function isnt working then you roll it all the way down pull the switch up (just to selfcontrol not the auto) when u get the window 1/2 way up then u hold it to the auto up until it closes and keep the button up for aprox. 15 seconds. then it should be good. TAKE THAT JARED I KNOW MORE ABOUT YOUR CAR THEN YOU DO!!!

Yup, that was it and I feel like a fool. It wasn't until I read the owner's manual that it hit me: I hadn't event remembered there was another button there because I'd never use it on purpose. Why would it make the driver's side controls not work too? We will never know. :ugh2:

Lol, same happened to me in my old Tiburon, went to the car wash and the lock button got pressed in the process. I though somehow water from the wash got in and fried something. Took it to the dealer and they looked at it and asked how long have I had the car because they didn't believe I couldn't have though of the lock button in 5years of owning the car. I just never used it and never bothered to look, "out of sight, out of mind".;)
