Battery buddy?
 

Well time has come to store the Z for the winter, I was told by the dealership not to disconnect the battery but get something called a battery buddy that attaches to the battery and will monitor if the charge goes down and juice it back up as needed.....

Has anyone tried this product? since the dealership didn't sell them I took it as good advise not a cash cow for them.....

I use a battery tender jr on my bike. Works as advertised. If you dont plan to drive the z occasionally it can really help prolong the life of the battery.
