Diminished value auto insurance claims

Rays 07-16-2010 06:25 PM

Has anyone dealt with diminished value claims and got it paid for?

Thanks man

man, sorry to see that. I think esfourteen has dealt with diminished value claims so PM him he can probably point you in the right direction. on another note if you were in a miata the damage wouldn't have been so severe though. =)

Seriously, no way that would have happened to Miata doors.

Jeffblue 07-16-2010 10:08 PM

^her car would have disintigrated if it had miata doors

WarmAndSCSI 07-16-2010 10:11 PM

Ow that sucks... Made me cringe just looking at the photo.

I'm honestly surprised I've never been hit by anybody after 5 years of driving in this godforsaken state.

You should ask your chosen body shop if they're comfortable retrofitting some Miata doors to your Z; should prevent anything like this from happening again.

Rays 07-16-2010 10:56 PM

Hopefully i will get enough money back from the claim for my injuries..to get a pair of miata doors put on

Miata doors never die... you just take them off and hammer them onto your new car.

Do you live in Los Angeles or Louisiana? Your location states "LA". Very different jurisdictional climates.
